🌸 April showers bring May flowers & we love April at MCC Library because we get to celebrate BOTH and 🤩 This year we kicked off the month when Kristina organized a lobby book display to celebrate Arizona poets. During Library Week we followed with an interactive lobby display from Alexia where students stopped to share a note about their favorite memories at MCC Library. A magnet poetry whiteboard activity on the second floor turned into a fun wordplay study break for our students this month (scroll right to see some of our favorites)

We’re excited to close Poetry month by showcasing MCC student excellence in a display, which features blackout poetry projects from MCC’s Spring semester Sociology 101 cohort. Students practiced poetic redaction of scholarly articles to creatively express their learning in the course. Their projects will be on display now through the end of this semester, so don’t miss your chance to come see it!
