✨Honoring resilience and leadership.✨

Today, we celebrate our Indigenous scholars as Graduate Health Professions Scholars. Physical therapy student Eddie W. (Navajo), dental student Autumn T. (Navajo), and medical student Logan J. (Swinomish) received their scholarship pin and white coat — marking not just an academic milestone as first- and second- year graduate health students, but a commitment to excellence, community, and the generations who walk with them. We are proud of them and are excited for the paths they are forging. 🤎🪶✨🥼🩺🦷

The ATSU Graduate Health Professions Scholarship (GPS) Program is designed to advance the University's unique mission of service and leadership in whole person healthcare. This scholarship takes a targeted approach to attracting and educating students whose lived experiences and contributions align with ATSU's mission.

As we close out 2025, we would like to recap some amazing events and initiatives. 🎉 From student socials and mentorship events to outreach, alumni connections, and powerful cultural celebrations, the NCAIHP had an incredible few months of learning, community, and connection. We honored Native American Heritage Month, celebrated the legacy of Dr. George Blue Spruce Jr., engaged with current and prospective students who will be future Indigenous health professionals, and welcomed partners from near and far.

Huge thank you to our students, alumni, community members, and collaborators for making 2025 so meaningful. We can’t wait to build on this momentum! ✨

Let’s carry this spirit forward into 2026 — honoring Indigenous heritage every day of the year and support our Indigenous health graduate students in achieving excellence!
