State Championship March. completed their State Championship March around campus led by RM Drumline. Led by a slew of great performances including Crew Comish 1600M individual state champ as well as Dameon Brender 100M state champ, and Crew Kody Cameron and Jeremy in 4X800 championship, the Mtn Lions swept the D-1 and Open State Championships the past 2 weekends!

Boys is the 1st team in AZ history to win the Track Division Championship and Open Championship in the same season. Congrats to Mtn Lion athletes, Coach Barge, Coach Krieg and the entire staff on a fantastic 2026 campaign!

A huge THANK YOU to all the colleges who came out to check out our players this week! We are so grateful for the time, support, and opportunities you provide for these athletes and their futures.

We would also like to thank the 108 coaches in attendance and the additional 12 schools that stopped by throughout the week. The continued support and interest in our program means so much to our players, coaches, and community.

A state record fell and history was made at the 2026 AIA Divisional State Track and Field Championships, held at Red Mountain and Shadow Mountain High from May 7-9.
