Our students had an incredible opportunity to go behind the scenes at Fry's Food Stores and experience what it takes to keep one of our community’s most popular grocery stores running! 🛒

During our visit, our students explored how grocery stores operate by comparing prices and brands, examining serving sizes, learning about inventory and stocking, and getting a behind-the-scenes look at back stock! They were able to see firsthand all the work that happens behind the shelves that we don’t always think about when we shop!

A huge thank you to Fry’s Food Stores for welcoming our students and giving them this hands-on learning experience. 💙

Mr. Ty’s class had an amazing visit to the Mesa Fire Station! We got a behind-the-scenes look at their “home away from home,” toured the living quarters, climbed inside an ambulance 🚑 and fire truck 🚒, and had the chance to time a firefighter getting fully geared up in less than a minute!

A huge THANK YOU to Station 213 for welcoming us, sharing your time and expertise, and giving our students such a fun and memorable glimpse into the incredible work you do. We are so grateful for your amazing team! ❤️💙

Our students look forward to animal therapy every week, and we absolutely love seeing their excitement, smiles, and curiosity when they meet each new animal. We can’t wait to see what fun and furry (and feathered!) friends we’ll meet throughout this year! 🐾

🌱🥕 The Mesa School Garden is officially growing!

Our students are getting their hands dirty and taking turns caring for our school garden throughout the year. The veggies and herbs they grow will make their way into our culinary classes! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

We can’t wait to see what our students grow, harvest, and create! 🌱✨
