Today is Mother’s Day, and I wanted to share a reflection from Proverbs 31:28:
“Her children rise up and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praises her:”
— Proverbs 31:28, NKJV
This post honors faithful mothers — the women who love, pray, endure, sacrifice, encourage, correct, and keep going by the grace of God.
I also included a special dedication to two mothers I thank God for deeply: my beloved wife of 30 years, who is now with the Lord Jesus, and my mom, who is still with us and continues to endure in faith.
A faithful mother’s labor may often be hidden, but it is never forgotten by God.

In just 23 words, the apostle Paul gives one of the clearest explanations in the Bible of how God reconciled sinners to Himself. No seminary degree is needed. No theological system needs to be forced into the verse. No religious tradition needs to be added to it.
What if the heart of the gospel could be summed up in a single verse—only 23 words long?
2 Corinthians 5:21 says it all:
“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
This is the Great Exchange:
The sinless Son of God became sin for you and me—so that we, by faith alone in the gospel, could become the very righteousness of God in Him.
No cleaning yourself up first.
No religious works.
No boasting.
Just pure grace: substitution at the cross and imputation of Christ’s perfect righteousness.
If you’ve ever wondered how a holy God can reconcile sinners to Himself, this study will light up your heart.

Psalm 61 was written during one of the most painful seasons of David’s life. Driven from Jerusalem by his own son, removed from the throne God promised him, and surrounded by betrayal and uncertainty, David responds not with bitterness or despair—but with prayer, trust, and praise.
This psalm is not polished poetry written from comfort. It is faith expressed under pressure.
Verse by verse, Psalm 61 shows how a godly heart responds when circumstances are overwhelming: crying out to God, resting in His faithfulness, longing for His presence, and worshiping even before deliverance comes.

This post by Mesa Bible Study highlights the massive and open shift across Christendom after October 7, 2023. What had been quietly assumed for decades became openly declared: Israel no longer belongs in God’s plan. The apostle Paul warned grace age believers DO NOT BOAST AGAINST THE BRANCHES. Why? Because we do not support the root, but the root supports you. Romans 11:18. Men can twist Romans 11 all they want but God is clear. Gentiles are Partakers not takers. The pride and arrogance has led good men down the wrong path. We must take God at His word, He says it we believe it. God can no lie.

Check out this from Mesa Bible Study 🕊️The Olive Tree Analogy (Romans 11:17–18).
🕊️The Olive Tree Analogy (Romans 11:17–18)
“And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them,
and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree,
do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you.”
This powerful imagery illustrates the relationship between Israel and the Gentile believers.
The olive tree represents the covenantal blessings and promises of God.
The natural branches are Israel.
The wild branches are believing Gentiles, grafted in by grace. By believing the gospel Ephesians 3:6:
'that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel,'
Gentiles are not replacing Israel but sharing in her spiritual blessings.
We are partakers, not possessors.
Paul warns Gentile believers not to boast. The root (Israel’s covenant with God through Abraham) supports the Church—not the other way around.
this strikes directly at the error of replacement theology, which falsely teaches that the Church has taken Israel’s place.
