Hello! I’m Douglas Rowan and I’m the founder of the Rowan Piano Institute. I have been studying piano since I was just a little kid and have since gone on to earn multiple degrees in piano performance, attend international music festivals across the globe, and win numerous competitions throughout the United States.
Along the way I discovered another passion, teaching piano! However, I found a problem with most piano education methods, they relied too much on one way of teaching and most young students now found them boring and outdated! I then found that new apps for learning piano were limited in how much they could actually teach!
That’s why I have developed a curriculum that helps students learn and love piano in a way that uses modern technology to make lessons more interactive and practicing at home more enjoyable! I’m excited to bring this method to you so you and your children can learn to play and to love the piano!
