So here you go…
Don’t buy dumb stuff.
That’s it. That’s the advice.
Seriously though, one of the biggest things I see when reviewing loan applications is death by a thousand monthly payments. Individually they’re small. Together they can wreck a budget and hurt your ability to qualify for a mortgage.
If it doesn’t improve your life, make you money, or help your family, think twice before financing it.
Simple advice. Surprisingly effective.
