Our school may be changing!
Please join us for a presentation tomorrow, Tuesday Aug 26th in the auditorium for the information and a q&a session presented by our principal and the district.

We are excited for our pool party this Friday night! FJPO is covering the entry fee and pizza- so no cost for the students to come! They can bring cash to purchase optional extra snacks. We will send home paper permission slips with the students this week. Please note you must have your waiver signed to enter the pool party. Hope to see you there! 🌊

The district has created a website with frequently asked questions about the future of Franklin Junior High and a potential Franklin High School. We are encouraged to review the information on that webpage and then attend the listening session on August 26th, 6:30-7:30pm. Hope to see you there!

Have you downloaded the Parent Square app yet? It’s your one-stop-shop for all school announcements and reminders. This one from Mrs. Moya today is reminding you about picture day tomorrow as well as our FJPO meeting!

Heads up that our first FJPO (Franklin Junior Parent Organization) meeting will be this Tuesday, August 12th at 6:00. Parents are welcome! Just come in through the front office at the school. We will be planning for teacher appreciation, school events, and how we can make our school the best it can be for our staff and students!

Huge news! Come be a part of this meeting to find out more about the future of our school. This is your chance to get questions answered and voice your feedback. See you there!

Mark your calendars! FJPO is happy to provide this event for free! It includes pizza and drinks but kids can bring cash to buy from the concessions, if they would like.

Did you know that this year's yearbooks have already been purchased? We had to place our order back in April which means we only have a set amount to sell. Once they are gone, they are gone and we cannot order more. To guarantee you get a book, order now!

To order: You can scan the QR code on the form which will you to your MPS acct. There is a place on there to purchase or you can bring cash or check to the office or to Mrs. Felstead!

Important dates to note this week!

•7/28 laptop checkout
•8th grade 10:00-12:00
•7th grade 1:00-3:00
•7/29 Curriculum night
•6:00-6:30pm: 7th grade students and parents/guardians meet in the auditorium
•6:30-8:00pm: walk campus to map out classes and meet teachers
•7/31 First day of school

**If you did not receive your student’s schedule this last Friday, that means your online orientation was not completed on time. Please come to Curriculum night on 7/29 and you will have an opportunity to complete orientation. Once it is complete, your student will receive their schedule.
