12 years ago, I walked into a Jiu-Jitsu gym at 5’6, 135 lbs.

I was scared, nervous and just plain shy. Once I took my first step on the mats, my life changed and I’ve never looked back. I surrounded myself with not only teammates, but a community that was like family. My coach Carlos Farias Jiu-jítsu, saw my determination and dedication.
