Received my Master’s Degree!
My business page is creative works that I completed during my Arizona State University courses before my Spring 2020 Graduation on May 11, 2020.
They are elements of myself-being that are to promote the career that I want to pursue.

So my name is not listed as a graduate but I am a graduate. I am embarrassed at the false publication of ASU at the moment. I know it’s a virtual graduation but still it’s a University Level.

This section of my Going Blue Book which I used for my SCN 300 Arizona State University class was very important because I found out that it’s a current day issue that is being looked at by oceanographers. The pages coordinated with the website named “www.theoceancleanup.com” which I used to complete some research and assignments. The information just swelled with me and makes me want to be a part of solving the issue. I think the marine debris in our oceans is just uncalled for. We create things so that we can take care of it the right way. So why would our oceans be so polluted with the things that we make. Wildlife is important for human survival. Share your ideas about this by leaving a comment or two.

One way for people to keep our oceans clean is by using the right disposing mechanisms created by man. We can recycle some of the things we use to prevent our garbage from making it to our ocean or land fields. Plastic is the leading ocean contamination caused by man that is not biodegradable. So all that plastic stays in our water just at smaller levels in size. What do you do with the things you do not want anymore? Our city streets or grounds is not the answer at keeping our waters clean. Waste Management companies are the right answer. I urge you to be kind to yourself and throw your disposable items away the right way so that we can save our oceans.

My Spring 2020 SCN 300 course has provided me with a great book that is about environmental education related to saving our Ocean waters. The book is named “Going Blue by authors Catheryn B. Kaye and Philippe Cousteau.” It has tons of details about how we can save our ocean waters including information from different locations that most people may not know about. The book is an easy reader for students ranging from a 6th grade level up to higher education. The sections in the book known as “Teens in Action” expresses ways for students like myself to brainstorm and solve environmental issues related to keeping our waters clean. It is a tool that I will be able to use in my future when I need to solve an environmental issue. If I were to educate some students about oceanic pollutions, like the Great Pacific Patches talked about in my previous post, I believe the book would be an effective way to get my students involved in the research. Moreover, it may be a good tool for oceanographers as well!

Have you wondered how we can remove garbage and plastics from the oceans? Well during my Spring 2020 Arizona State University SCN 300 course I found out about a website that has oceanographers working at it right now. Their website can be easily looked up with your cell phone or with a computer. Some of the oceanographers have built this extremely large cylinder plastic tube with a large netting attached to catch all that garbage and remove it from our oceans. Their idea is innovative for those who like environmental education like myself. Their project known as the “System 002” is a way to show how strong education really is when solving problems caused by those uneducated. The pictured screenshot of their site is only a mere action of mine to show that I care about our planet. What do you think? Leave a comment or two. @ Cottonwood Apts.

The Environmental Protection Agency or EPA is a national website that anyone can search up. It has tons of information related to common day environmental issues that can help educate those who may have a question about their environment. The website can even be looked up with your cell phone to make access to it more relatable for any person. It provides facts and facts alone that can ease any misunderstandings. It’s ran by our government who overtly make sure their sources of information is accredited by individuals or companies. I used the website to do tons of research projects like my recent day project about keeping our oceans clean from human garbage. Our Oceans are the source to our livelihood so keeping them clean is highly important. Vinny and I used the site to find out about information about trash free water. Please take a look “www.epa.gov” you just might be amazed at what you find out! Vinny and I enjoyed using it a tons.
