🕊️ Honoring Emily Pike & MMIP at MCC Pow Wow🕊

The MCC Pow Wow Committee would like to take a moment to honor the life of Emily Pike and bring awareness to the ongoing crisis of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives. Our hearts and prayers are with our communities and all those affected by the loss of our Baby Girl, Emily Pike, and the many loved ones taken too soon.

We pray for the safe return of all our missing relatives and for healing, strength, and justice for their families.

In remembrance and solidarity, we ask attendees to wear red to show support and raise awareness. Red ribbons will also be available at the welcome booth.

Let’s stand together. Let’s honor, remember, and fight for justice.

What an incredible evening at the Miss Native MCC Pageant last Thursday! We are thrilled to announce the new Miss Native Mesa Community College 2025-2026, Raegen Ellis (Diné), and 1st Attendant Tanielle Klah (Diné)!

The night was a beautiful celebration of the diverse tribal nations represented at MCC, and we couldn’t be more proud of the cultural pride and unity displayed. We also want to take a moment to honor the amazing leadership and service of the outgoing royalty, Miss Native MCC 2023-2024 Kadence Sayles (Yavapai/ Sioux) and 1st Attendant Kaitlyn Yazzie (Diné). Their dedication and hard work have left a lasting impact on our community.

Here’s to new beginnings and continuing the legacy of excellence at Mesa Community College! 🌟
