listen Linda, listen... this past month or two has been nuts! in a good way though! this has been one of our busiest holiday seasons yet, and we owe it all to you, our customers! i know we haven't posted much because we just honestly didn't have the time and couldn't take on more projects. now that things have settled we will get back on track with posting some new videos/engraved items/etc. in the mean time, everyone enjoy your holidays with friends and family and be safe!

Lost soul skateboards hit us up, asking if we could engrave on a skateboard deck. We hadn't done it before, but knew there had to be a way! It took a bit of ingenuity, but we came up with a custom fixture so could engrave each deck in the same place every time.

Check out some tips and tricks we use to laser engrave a yeti with a handle using a rotary attachment

We like to use the clamp, but you need to watch out for the threads in the lip of the mug. Install the rotary clamp and install the YETI.

Lining the lip of the cup with the rear roller seems to work best.
You need to make sure the handle has clearance prior to engraving.

We like to set up our page size to the size of the mug as if it were unwrapped.
This allows us to perfectly align the artwork to exactly where we want it on the mug.

Tips and tricks:
Always check for clearance on the rotary attachment.
Make sure you note the location of the handle. It needs to clear the rotary attachment.
Set xy axis and line up with the center of the mug.
