The MIHS CubeSat Team is taking on the challenge of building a satellite to send into space. Merritt Island High School is only the second high school in NASA history to do this, and this is also the first time Kennedy Space Center has partnered with a high school to build and launch a CubeSat. Students involved in the CubeSat project are, with the help of NASA engineers, building a small satellit

e to send into space. This is a four year project, with a lot of hard work including the designing, building, and testing of the satellite.

During the telecast it was announced the side boosters will be reused for our mission on STP-2 (the next Falcon Heavy launch) 🚀!
