Congratulations to the Class of 2026! We were excited to once again welcome our former students to LCE for their final walk before graduation.

What makes this even more special? Sadly, this class never got to experience their 6th grade promotion. They left for spring break in March of 2020, never to return to LCE due to the pandemic.

We hope that this walk was extra special. It was great to see them connect with former teachers and peers, as several high schools were represented.

What an AMAZING two Fridays of Field Day at Lewis Carroll! 🐬☀️💙

A huge shoutout to Coach Dudek for organizing two fun-filled days packed with teamwork, energy, and dolphin pride! We are also so grateful for our incredible parent volunteers and student volunteers who helped make everything run so smoothly. Your support made all the difference!

We wrapped up our Field Day celebrations with a SLIMY surprise for Ms. Miner! 🤣💚 Some of our top earners from the Kids Heart Challenge earned the chance to slime the principal, and they definitely delivered!

Thank you to our Lewis Carroll families for supporting our partnership with the Kids Heart Challenge and The American Heart Association. We are proud of our students for showing generosity, leadership, and heart while helping others.

🌎✨ Earth Day Celebration at Lewis Carroll Elementary ✨🌎

What an incredible event bringing our school community together in celebration of our planet! 💚

Dolphin Families enjoyed hands-on experiences with the Space Coast Critters bus, where students had the chance to pet and feed animals up close 🐾. Our talented Music Makers filled the air with beautiful performances 🎶, while stunning artwork from students across all grade levels was proudly displayed for everyone to admire 🎨.

The night was full of discovery and innovation with exciting STEM activities, including student drone flights 🚁, and our Book Fair helped inspire a love for learning and the world around us 📚.

This special event was all about uniting the arts and sciences to promote conservation awareness and appreciation for our environment. 🌱

Lewis Carroll Elementary is proud to be a Guy Harvey Conservation School, and we are committed to empowering our students to care for and protect our planet—today and every day.

We would like to begin by recognizing our Art Show Participants:
-Kinsley Into won the Merit Award for her Endangered Species Bengal Tiger. 🐅
-Elise Roth won a Special Recognition for her 3D Lionfish. 🐟
-Serenity Cancel won 2nd place for her Florida Bison. 🐃
-Aidan Ingleton's 3D Ulysses Butterfly was recognized for display. 🦋

This district-wide juried exhibition celebrates the incredible talent, creativity, and dedication of our student artists. Each artwork reflects their unique voice, hard work, and artistic growth. Our in-person exhibition was held on Saturday, April 11th, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Eau Gallie Civic Center in Melbourne, Florida. The event was a tremendous success and deeply appreciated by all who attended. The artwork on display was truly outstanding, showcasing the incredible talent and creativity of our students.

Please note an adjustment to the 25-26 Academic Calendar. Last student day will now be May 22nd.

🚨 End-of-School Year Update 🚨

Good news BPS Fam🎉 Thanks to a full school year with no hurricane day closures, all required instructional minutes will be completed earlier than planned! Here's what that means for families:

💛The last day for students is Friday, May 22, 2026. (5/20-5/22/26 will be early release days for exams.) This also includes Challenger 7 Modified Year Round Schedule.

💚While teachers will still be working on May 26–27 for required planning days, students will not attend school on those dates.

💛Childcare services are being planned to begin earlier to help accommodate the additional days students will be off school. More details will be shared as plans are finalized.

💚Senior testing schedules and seniors’ last days of school are determined by each school and are based on graduation dates. Graduation dates are not changing. 🎓

💛All other end of school ceremonies, to include Kindergarten and 6th grade promotion assemblies, are determined by each school. Please contact your school to confirm dates have not changed.
