It took me a hot minute, but I have put together a package of pretty neat options for Millar Voice Studio in the coming weeks. Interestingly enough, I had JUST announced the start of virtual lessons in February. I have slashed the prices of all lessons and coachings to make these options as accessible as possible.

*Edit* As I stared at these prices, I realized I could do better. I reduced them further. I need the income, but we need the music more!

Private Activities:

Virtual Lessons (Through Zoom)
30 Minutes - $15
45 Minutes - $20

Virtual Audition Consultation (Through Zoom)
Want to spot check a song or seek some quick advice?
15 Minutes - $10

Virtual Breath-Focused Warm Up (Through Zoom)
It's like yoga... for your voice. We'll do a gentle vocal warm up that focuses on waking up the voice and focusing the breath.
20 Minutes - $15

Group Activities:

Virtual Voice Mini-Workshops (Hosted Every Week Through Zoom, Time TBD)
Participate in an half hour voice workshop focused on a different vocal skill or technique.
30 Minutes - $7 each

"But I already have lessons paid for with you!"

We have some options! Your prepaid in-person lessons are a higher price than these virtual options. You could....
1) Opt to use prepaid lesson credits to pay for virtual lessons (swapping an in-person for a virtual)
2) Use the prepaid credits to pay for a lesson, and I will provide with a discount code for the balance left over.
3) Simply save those prepaid credits for future, in-person lessons and purchase virtual lessons outright.

The next few weeks are going to be a challenge. It's going to be hard on kids being away from school. It's going to be a challenge and huge change for working parents, and even the caregivers home with these little ones during the day - unsure what's safe to participate in during the break.

We have a heart for our community, our kids, and our families. We want to help! Here's what we're going to do:

Beginning next week, our studio will be going live daily with free art & craft tutorials to create at home with your kids! We'll have shopping lists (with links to the supplies you can order from Amazon) to have on-hand to complete the projects with us! We hope this helps the parents, grandparents, nannies, and in home providers to still have something fun to do with these little guys, and something exciting to look forward to during a time that can be quite overwhelming for kids. Art is therapy, friends! And if there was ever a time for it, it's now!

An important message:

Hi all,

With schools and businesses closing, I have been considering when it should be time to put an end to in-person voice lessons. I believe we have reached that time. I will be suspending in-person lessons, starting tomorrow, for the next two weeks (until 3/28). I will happily reschedule lessons scheduled during this time, or am going to be offering online video lessons as an alternative. I know a lot of students will be home and antsy during the next week (as will I), so please feel free to reach out to schedule additional online lessons.

My hope is that we can return to normal at the end of this two week period.
