Merrimack High School Class of 2022

If you are still local, please consider joining Mr. Hall and I this Friday, September 16th at 5:30pm for the opening ceremony of the new MHS Concession Stand (first 2022 home football game vs. Nashua South will follow at 6:30pm). The Classes of 2019, 2020, 2022, and 2023 joined together to make a $12,000 donation to Laura’s World Fund to help finish the concession stand prior to the 2022 football home opener. The concession stand will be available to be used by various clubs, organizations, and booster clubs to help with fundraising efforts at different events throughout the year. We cannot wait to see what this beautiful new addition to the MHS campus will bring to MHS and the Merrimack community.

Hey all, Mrs. Dumais here. While I am waiting for photos to share from each school for Hawk Walk, I thought a graduation post was in order after today.

I was not supposed to be the advisor for the Class of 2022. Busy planning and running the senior activities for the Class of 2019, taking on a new cycle of class advising was the last thing on my mind. However, looking back, I am so glad I said yes to the challenge of having two classes concurrently. If I hadn’t, I would have missed out advising and getting to know one of the best classes MHS has ever seen.

While the Class of 2022 missed out on almost two years of normal student activities, they came together during unprecedented times and were, thankfully, able to have the typically junior prom plus normal senior activities this year. A feat that would not have happened so seamlessly if Mr. Hall had not stepped up to help when my co-advisor left teaching mid-year. I cannot thank him enough for the endless amount of planning and late nights we have endured to pull off five major events in the span of just over one month.

To the Class of 2022: Dream Big! It was an honor to be your class advisor these past four years. To quote your senior song, “Went face to face with all our fears, learned our lessons through the tears, made memories we knew would never fade. When you get older, your wild heart will live for younger days. One day, you'll leave this world behind, so live a life you will remember. These are the nights that never die.” 💙🎓

The final countdown begins! Tonight is the Senior Cruise and graduation practice starts at 8:30am Friday, 6/17 with Hawk Walk immediately following. Mrs. Dumais will take and post pictures of willing graduates at both events. 🎓💙

Senior Week if finally here! Please see screenshots of the information that students received if they completed sign out on Friday. Hard copies will be available tomorrow at the second sign out as well. The information also went out Friday in an email from Mr. Hall.

Merrimack TV will be broadcasting this year’s commencement ceremony live! Please see the information below. 🎓

Announcement! Please share! 🎊 Watch Merrimack High School's 2022 Graduation ceremony LIVE on Merrimack TV beginning at 10am on Saturday June 18th.

Family members and friends will be able to watch the ceremony LIVE from anywhere in the country at MerrimackTV.com and on streaming devices (Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV) via "Cablecast Screenweave" - a free app. Every student receives a close up while their name is called and when receiving their diploma. Residents can also catch the event on Merrimack TV Ch21 and HD1071 on Comcast XFINITY in Merrimack.

This is the 17th consecutive year that Merrimack TV covers the High School's Graduation and the 2nd year that it's presented LIVE.

Prom photos are IN!!!!! You can pick them up in room 220 at the times listed below.

As a reminder, green field trip permission cards for Six Flags and/or the Senior Cruise must be turned into Mr. Hall in room 220 by the end of the day Monday, 6/6. If you need an extra card please see Mrs. Dumais in room 104 or Mr. Hall in room 220. Failure to turn in your cards by the end of the day Monday, 6/6 will result in an assigned bus seat.

You may go see Mr. Hall in Room 220 during the following times to pick up your photos and/or drop off your green card to be able to select your seat on the bus if your choice.

With tomorrow being the first day of June, the final countdown begins!

Just a few things:

1.) Make sure you turn in your completed green field trip permission card to Room 220 before/after school, in between classes, or during periods 3, 5, or 8. You can only sign up for buses once you have turned in your completed card. If you need a card see Mr. Hall (Room 220) or Mrs. Dumais (Room 104).

2.) Using the QR codes below, sign up to participate in the Hawk Walk by June 8th!

Mr. Hall and I are hard at work and cannot wait to see everyone red carpet ready tonight!

As a reminder, students must be in school for 4 full periods (HR does not count) and must sign out before leaving. Please remind students to bring a physical copy of their MHS ID to expedite the check in process.

Photos at Anheuser Busch from 4-5:30pm. Check-in for prom starts at 6:00pm.
