Perfectionism is everywhere, even in children’s books! My daughter loves Fancy Nancy and this page reminded me of last week’s coaching conversation on perfectionism. My favorite part is that the book offers the perspective ‘for the moment’ - a big takeaway from our chat last week was that perfect is a point in time not an end.

Introducing...

I am thrilled to announce a small change in my coaching practice... a new name. This name change means a lot to me, and I am excited to have expanded my services to serve you better.

➡ Coaching is, by its very nature, collaborative. I am not an expert at your job or the expert in your life; you are. I am an expert at listening, synthesizing, and challenging you to bring out your best. I am still offering individual and group coaching services in the same way I have, through collaboration, and I wanted my business name to reflect that.

➡ As a certified Life Coach trained in the ICF Core Competencies, I firmly believe our work life and personal life are holistically interconnected. What we experience personally comes to work with us, and what we experience at work goes home with us. I love working with clients to navigate the muddy waters of overlap. Corporate America, on the other hand, hasn't fully embraced this whole-person approach to people (I am working to change that along with other Coaches and HR professionals), and Life Coach in my business name was working against me.

➡ I have expanded my services to address the challenges I see in the organizations I work with. In addition to coaching and in collaboration with the organization, I offer facilitation for retreats, strategic planning, and team building. I offer collaborative leadership training in customer service and emerging management. I partner with conferences to host interactive breakout and keynote sessions. Most of all, I create custom solutions that address the needs of the organizations and employees I work with.

Please be patient as I finalize the transition on the tech side, and don't hesitate to reach out. I'd love to support you.

It's been on my mind lately to offer more coaching into the world. I'm excited to announce Coaching Conversations!

I'll be hosting 45-minute topical conversations about your career and your life. Each conversation will offer three people the chance to share their personal experiences and have a 10-minute coaching conversation.

I want to help you see your challenges through a new lens so that instead of rebutting all suggestions and feeling defeated and exhausted, you feel reassured, confident, and optimistic that your breakthrough is coming.

Say YES! How many times do we say no in a day?! I can’t even venture a guess. Finding ways to say yes creates compromise, builds trust and puts positivity out into the world! While not a yes at work- saying yes to my daughter having some fun summer hair was a great way to build trust, give her some positivity and heck, its summer! ☀️

I wear many hats! 🧢👒🎩Most of them are of my kids sports teams, I am, after a superfan 🤣 and I love a good hat! 💫 What I really want to share though is the stress we all feel wearing so many hats in our lives. We are parents, friends, professionals, colleagues, managers, coaches, siblings, volunteers, superfans and more. Juggling the pressure from being all these things to so many people is exhausting and challenging. It’s also rewarding. I love the energy I get back from all my roles. And I need time to unwind and decompress. ❓Which role is challenging you the most these days?!
