North Shore Enrichment FAQ: Are there any materials fees or any materials I need to purchase on our own? No. North Shore Enrichment provides all materials needed for tutoring sessions.

North Shore Enrichment offers personalized tutoring and enrichment sessions, specializing in English Language Arts, from Kindergarten all the way through grade 12. In addition, your child will be given, and be able to keep, a composition notebook, a folder of worksheets tailored to their learning journey, and a bookmark. Where are tutoring sessions held? I travel to you, or I can often reserve a s

tudy room at the local library. We are in the process of acquiring additional facilities. I've also had incredible success having outdoor sessions in warmer weather- I believe being in nature recharges kids' learning juices! Are there any cancellation policies or fees? Life happens. At the moment, I just ask you try to give as much notice as you can so I can fit in other students. Do you offer refunds? We believe that every child benefits from extra academic attention, and that benefit cannot always be measured in a test score. So while we do expect our students to improve significantly in English Language Arts, there are no guarantees that will happen within a specified amount of time; some students take longer to improve than others. On our end, however, we will guarantee that we will give every measure of effort to see your child succeed, and that time and effort should not be devalued.

From Shel Silverstein to TS Eliot, age appropriate poetry is one of the most valuable tools in an English Language Arts toolbox. Whether your student has fallen a bit behind on reading skills, or you'd just like to enrich their language journey, poetry can be an incredible boost. Sessions can be stand alone or purchased as an add-on to regular tutoring sessions.
