As we celebrated the life of our dearly departed Shirley Ann Mora, we were reminded of the sheer impact of love and kindness. We are grateful for the outpouring of support that has carried us through this challenging period. Thank you for your prayers and expressions of support. Our sister may be gone, but the memories she created with the 294 individuals who attended her memorial service will forever be etched in our hearts.

BREAKING NEWS!😄

Your ECW Class of 1981 Reunion Committee has thoroughly enjoyed planning our last two class reunions. Our 35th in 2016 and our 40th in 2021 were tremendous successes … but we are done.😅 We being Anneice “Mickey” Owens, Shirley “Hawk” Hawkins, Frankie Duenes, Theresa Gueyser and myself, Jerry Wash have decided to pass the torch to any member of our graduating class who would like to accept the challenge. We are letting you know sooner rather than later so that any fundraising and long-range planning can begin immediately.

Some words of advice: get yourself a committee, you won’t be able to do this alone. Be patient, willing to adapt and transparent. I am here to assist with any advice or direction as well as my committee members. Of course we are always willing to support in any way we can.

ATTN: ECW SENATORS CLASS.OF 1981--
Planning a class reunion in the middle of a global pandemic ... who would have thought? Covid-19 has forever changed our lives. We have lost loved ones like David Duenes, beloved husband of reunion committee member Frankie Duenes and countless others. Still, despite it and other obstacles we pushed forward. It hasn't been easy but now we are one week away from what we hope is another epic reunion weekend. Being a part of this committee has been a journey I will always treasure. We don't always agree but we're also adults so we make it work ... and we enjoy it! Thanks to our fellow Senators for your support, patience and your love. When we say we couldn't have accomplished anything without you, we mean it. See you next weekend!
