Ok, about last evening. I had the privilege of being around some heavy hitters of the Martial arts. Some I knew and others I learned of.

These Masters of the martial arts are very distinguish men who came from various beginnings and each have countless stories of the amazing paths in which their passion for the martial arts have led and guided them in this life long journey to this recognition.

I am so Yahly proud that my husband, O'Sensei Marvin Clark 10th dan, was also a part of this group of very distinguish men being recognized and presented with the International Master's Recognition Award, given by The International Council Of Martial Arts Masters.

Thank you Siraj Cooper, the Council and last but not least, every parent, student and supporter of Marvin Clark Karate Academy who aided him in the growth of his passion from a young man to a leader and mentor, ous! !🥋🙌🏾💪🏾👊🏾

Feast of Atonement

This is a day we will never forget. It's a memory of the day Yah called you out of the present. We think about you EVERY day Marshae' along with the shedding of tears. 😢We are at peace but our hearts are still mending. 💙💙

There are also other memories of you that we love and miss. We hold onto the memories of your loud laughs and the way you would say, "Waaaaat!" because of something I said.(Ma)😅 Your quirkiness, the air bass guitar you played with your dad on the couch, and you coming into the salon getting your hair done weekly. You would always come in saying, " I coming bearing gifts ma" which was always food, your love language. We miss hearing your high praise of "HALLELUYAH!" at the Assembly. You were always so loud and excited after prayer over the meal. 🤣 🙌 We miss coming into the dojo seeing that you had started class already teaching karate history. 🥋 Or watching Brandon & Justin follow you home flying home across US 30....smh. We are just saying, we miss you Shae'Shae 😔 💙💙⚘️💕

Ok late post, but we would be remiss not to acknowledge the hard work of The Watchmen.👊🏾 It happened on Sunday April 28, 2024 @ the 32nd Annual North American Grand Nationals of Janesville WI. The Watchmen were in the house! They came a swept most of their divisions with each winning 1st places in Kata, weapons & sparring, some second, and only 3, 3rd places. Kennedy Wells also won Jr. black belt Grand Champion weapons divisions. Also worthy to be noted are our triple crown lady and girls winners, Vanita, Jailynn, Jada and Janee' Golston who won 1st place in all their divisions. All the Watchmen assignments were clear and they were completed along with our newcomers to the fight team who also took 1st place in sparring. It was an awesome trip and one for the books. We are Yahly proud of these awesome and amazing competitors. 👊🏾🏆⚔️🙌

Marshae's first smile we cherish and is etched in our hearts and memories forever; We still shed our tears daily because you are not here and we love and miss you so.
