Theodor Seuss Geisel, known to the world as Dr. Seuss was born on the 2nd of March 1904 in Howard Street, Springfield, Massachusetts. He is widely recognized for his contribution as a writer, poet and cartoonist. He wrote 46 books for children mainly based on imaginative characters and rhymes. His work has also been adopted into many television specials, feature films, and television series. (famousauthors.org)

In honor of Dr. Seuss we invite you to dress each day in colors and styles that promote the famous children's author:

Monday, Feb. 28th - Wear Green
Tuesday, Mar. 1st - Wear Blue or Red
Wednesday, Mar. 2nd - Wear something wacky
Thursday, Mar. 3rd - Wear orange or yellow
Friday, Mar. 4th - Wear your favorite socks
