Another proud milestone for Trout Glass & Mirror!

Following the success of our glaziers earning their AGMT Certifications, we are proud to announce that Trout Glass & Mirror, Inc. has officially achieved NACC Certification.

These two achievements go hand in hand.

AGMT Certification recognizes the skill, knowledge, and professionalism of individual glaziers. NACC Certification recognizes the company-wide systems that support that work — quality management, safety, business practices, contract administration, documentation, and glazing processes.

Together, they represent what Trout Glass has always worked toward: skilled union glaziers, strong company systems, safer jobsites, better documentation, and a continued commitment to doing things the right way.

We are especially proud that Trout Glass & Mirror is the first union glazing contractor in Indiana to achieve NACC Certification and, to our knowledge, the only glazing contractor in Indiana — union or non-union — currently certified.

This was not a small undertaking. A very special thank you and congratulations goes to Lana Reiser for the immense amount of time, organization, follow-through, and hard work she put into getting this across the finish line. Lana played a major role in making this achievement possible, and we are grateful for the dedication she brought to the process.

We also want to thank the trainers and staff at Finishing Trades Institute of DC91 for their support, guidance, and help as we worked through this process. Their commitment to training, professionalism, and the continued advancement of our trade helped make this achievement possible.

We are proud of our glaziers, shop team, project managers, office staff, and leadership team. This certification reflects the work of everyone at Trout Glass who continues to push our company and our trade forward.

This is a proud moment for Trout Glass & Mirror — and another step in continuing to raise the standard.

We had a great National Apprenticeship Week throughout District Council 91, with events at all of our training centers featuring guest students from Job Corps, The Indiana Plan, LaPorte High School Construction Trades program and Trades for Tomorrow. A big thank you to all vendors: Sherwin Williams, Level 5 Drywall Tools, Ritz Safety and our partners at Ivy Tech Community College, and a special thank you to our current apprentices for being great ambassadors for our union.
