Hello Families,

As we get closer to the first day of school, Kobussen Buses will be doing a “dry run” day on Monday, August 24, 2026. What this means is all buses will be doing their morning, mid day, and afternoon routes at their scheduled times. They will be stopping at each stop to verify times are accurate. If you would like to be out at your stop at your designated time, you will be able to see your school bus as well as the driver for the year. To get your student(s) bus information, please go to your StopFinder App and get your student(s) times and bus/route number. Kobussen Buses will be sending out information about the StopFinder App shortly, if they haven’t already. As always, times can vary up to 10 minutes so please be patient. After they complete their “dry run” day, you may notice in your StopFinder App some times may change so please review your information later next week.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call Kobussen Buses office at 715-539-8121 option 1.

Thank you, enjoy the rest of your summer!

As we wrap up another school year, it’s fun to look back and see just how much our students have grown. 💙

This video takes us back to the 2023-2024 school year and features many of our current 3rd and 4th graders. It’s amazing to see how much they have changed, learned, and grown over the years. We are so proud of each and every one of them and all they have accomplished.

Our 3rd and 4th grade students recently took on a Puzzle Challenge in the library! Students had 25 minutes to complete a 100-piece puzzle while practicing teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. It was great to see students encouraging each other and working together toward a common goal.

Be sure to check out the attached photos, including a snapshot of our library statistics from the 2025–2026 school year!

Washington School had a perfect day for Field Day! Students spent the day enjoying popsicles, water balloons, water games, javelin throw, bubbles, bags, and so many fun activities together.

A huge thank you goes to our amazing Phy. Ed. teacher, Lisa Handlin, who plans and organizes this special day each year. This was Mrs. Handlin’s final Field Day before retirement, and it could not have been more perfect. Thank you for the many years of memories, fun, and dedication you have given to our students!

4th grade students at Washington have the opportunity to apply to be library volunteers throughout the school year, and this group has been absolutely amazing! These students helped collect books from classrooms, return books to the shelves, create book talks and displays, and assist with many other important library duties.

Their hard work, enthusiasm, and dedication helped make our library a better place every single day. We are so thankful for all of their help and the positive energy they brought to the library this year!

We are going to miss this wonderful group of students so much as they head off to middle school next year. Thank you, library volunteers, for an awesome year!
