‼️Staff Appreciation Week Is Almost Here‼️
Hi Cedar Lane Families! May 6- 9 is Staff Appreciation Week at Cedar Lane and WE NEED YOUR HELP! We have planned a luncheon for our teachers for May 8th but are in need of desserts for the luncheon and GIFT CARDS ($10-$20 each) to give to our staff! Cedar Lane Families- Mark Your Calendars!

You are invited for a night of fun, food, games, and music! Please join us by bringing food, drinks, or games to share that are from your culture or family traditions. Also, we invite you to wear something that represents your culture or family traditions. There will be raffle prizes, as well as an optional visit to our Cedar Lane Food Pantry, and take-home food bags.

We are in need of parent volunteers! Please join us in planning this family friendly, fun event! We promise it will not be a huge time commitment but we would love to have your input! If you can help please email Ms. Min at [email protected]

Please use the list attached to your bag when you are shopping. (Our list is also on our website if you need to print it.) Leave all items in their original packaging and double check the expiration dates. Thank you for your generosity!

Important info CL Families!

All students are invited to attend the 2025 Fairfax County Teen Job Fair Series and Career Building Workshops sponsored by Springfield District Supervisor Pat Herrity with FCPS kicking off Saturday, March 8th from 11am to 1pm at West Springfield High School and on Saturday, March 15th at Chantilly High School from 11am to 1pm. At each fair, students will have the opportunity to engage with employers offering part-time, full-time, seasonal, and volunteer positions. During the fairs, students will also be able to attend career-building workshops like Resume Building and Interviewing 101. Most positions at the fair are geared toward students age 16+, but some opportunities for younger students may be available with parental consent.
