• Regina Calder – 29 years of service as a Special Education Teacher Aide at Old Mill Road School (not pictured)
• Catherine Gahan – 36 years of service as a Special Education Teacher Aide at Old Mill Road School
• Loriann Rotella – 13 years of service as a Special Education Teacher Aide at Old Mill Road School

The latest round of Reading Ambassadors at Harold D. Fayette School continued the mission to inspire a love of reading within their peers on May 29 as they visited classrooms to lead read-alouds and spread their love and enjoyment of a good story.

Third through sixth graders visited kindergarten through third-grade classrooms to show their leadership by hosting the engaging read-alouds and discussions. With age-appropriate books in hand, all attention was on the Reading Ambassadors as they made their stories come to life. The classroom guests prompted their peers to raise their hands as they interjected interactive moments during their read. Throughout the year, Reading Ambassadors who proudly represent their class lead literary initiatives, such as recommending several books to add to the school library.
