Has your little bear been working hard to bring those donations in for The Fun Run? Don’t forget to look for the official envelope in the backpacks. You can also donate online! We are starting to see some money come in and we are so appreciate of your support for the school!
We are still in the works on updating our prizes, but rest assured we have some cool ones, hopefully this will help get the students excited as they work hard with their fundraising.
We will be posting the prize flyer very soon. In the mean time, exited to see the leader boards rising in the givebacks hub! Go Bears! Reminder, if we reach our school goal of $12,000, the entire school gets to celebrate with a Glow party!

The Merriam Park Bears kicked off the annual Fun Run fundraiser assembly yesterday and students are pumped! “Bear- lympics”
PTA went over all the details about how to bring in money, how to be safe about asking for money, and why it is important to our school to raise money.
(Like covering ALL costs for our field trips and teacher grants so we can get the latest tech supplies for the classrooms)
We also spoke about how fun the actual day of running will be at the Fun Run!
This year the Fun Run is on Friday, October 23rd. Stay tuned for more info from teachers.
We will have music, lap running, popsicles and so much celebration!
Students and classes who bring in the most money win amazing prizes for individuals and class pizza parties so please donate if you can. Little, or big, it all goes back to our school, every penny!
A full list of prizes coming soon!!!!
Parents please look in your student backpacks for pledge envelopes.
We are live and taking donations.
We are collecting money online and cash in envelopes now, until the end of October.
See QR code for payment online.
If we meet our goal of $12,000, Merriam Park will be celebrating with an all school glow party!
Let’s go!!! Go Bears!! 🐻 🏃 🏆✨

Just in time for back to school, our beloved gym has new mascot bears!
Say hello to Parker and Pride Merriam Park!
So excited for the new addition.
These pictures don’t do them justice, they are truly stunning in person. Yay for the visual arts! Our students will be enjoying these pieces for many years to come.
Big Thank you to the artist Jason Romanishin and the PTA for making this commission happen.
Welcome back to school everyone, we are happy you are here 🐻🐻❤️✨

Just saw Merriam Park Elementary students being recognized and showcased on the Rustic Vintage Rose page with their photography!
I am so incredibly proud of the students and their beautiful art pieces!
I can’t wait to continue to inspire, teach and show what kids can make.
I am truly honored to be apart of this amazing calaboratipn with Dee Wright and the SMSD PTA Reflections team. Thank you for making it possible for students to show work in a professional setting.
It’s been a dream running The Memory Makers photography club at MP. I can’t wait to start it up again this school year!
Kids are so talented! Go Bears!
