🇺🇸 Freedom isn't free. Neither is confidence.

Fireworks are fun.

Freedom is earned.

Strength is earned.

Confidence is earned.

Nobody wakes up one morning able to defend themselves. Nobody accidentally develops discipline. Nobody stumbles into becoming dangerous to the people who would hurt them and gentle with the people they love.

You build it.

One workout. One class. One hard decision at a time.

So while everyone else is celebrating America's independence, remember to celebrate your own.

Become independent from fear. Independent from excuses. Independent from being the person who says, "I wish I had..."

We'll be here when you're ready to put in the work.

Until then... don't stand too close to the guy who says, "Hold my beer, watch this firework."

🏆 BIG NEWS: We Won! 🏆 DO 100 PUSH-UPS TO CELEBRATE...

My Krav Maga & Fitness Center is officially a winner in Ingram’s 38th annual Best of Business Kansas City Awards!

The email said their readers are "highly discriminating" and "affluent." I only speak the language of suffering and raw discipline, but it sounds like we’re a big deal now.

Thank you to everyone who voted. I love you guys. Now put down the coffee, get on the mats, and let's see some soul-crushing effort. 🤜💥

You know what’s comfortable? Learning. Sitting on a couch, drinking a protein shake, and feeling smart because you read a quote. Guess what?

The universe doesn’t reward you for what you know. It rewards you for what you execute.

Aristotle wrote it down thousands of years ago, and I had to rewrite it in chalk today because some of you still aren't listening. If your knowledge isn't turning into sweat, discipline, and raw ex*****on, it's just decorative noise in your head. You don't get a trophy for understanding the grind...you have to actually survive it.

Stop overthinking the blueprint and start lifting the heavy bricks. Right now.

I wrote this in the lobby because some of you look like you are waiting for a fairy godmother to do your squats for you. News flash: She isn’t coming. And if she did, she’d make you do extra lunges.

I can open the doors. The community can cheer you on. But nobody is going to carry your heavy weight down the road for you. That is your job.

Stop looking for the easy exit. Put your shoes on. See you on the mats. 🏋️

Proof that the apple can actually roll quite far from the tree. 🍎💨 My son Bodhi won the Royals Jr Broadcaster grand prize and did a live batting report for the Rangers game on June 10. He’s smart, well-spoken, and clearly didn't get his public speaking skills from me.

Nietzsche said, 'The most dangerous form of blindness is believing your perspective is the only reality.' In the gym, that blindness gets you punched in the face because you didn't see the angle coming. In real life, it just keeps you small, angry, and stuck in your own head.

Krav Maga isn't just about weaponizing your instincts to defend your body. It’s about training your brain to identify, interrupt, and rewire the emotional garbage that tells you your way is the only way. Stop being soft. Stop living like you’ve got a 400-year lease on life. Change your perspective, or reality is going to do it for you...and reality usually hits harder than I do.
