Anselmo-Merna FFA Labor Auction FFA Banquet and Awards

The Anselmo-Merna FFA will be holding their annual “Labor Auction” on April 14, 2026. Announcing the Annual Labor Sale of 37 Qualified Members of the Labor Force.
Sale Starts during the FFA banquet meal which will start at 6:30 pm in the High School Gym. Once people are served we will begin the Labor Auction. After the Labor Auction has concluded, we will then conduct the award program of our FFA Banquet. We hope that your schedule allows you to join us for an event filled evening. Our Ag Education Program needs your help with the Greeenhouse project to secure the rest of the funding. We have $20,000 in grants that we risk losing if we don't finish this project. We are planning to meet tonight in the cafeteria at 7:00 pm to discuss how to proceed. We would love have your input and suggestions.

March 17th at 7:00 pm meeting in the cafeteria for our kickoff funding program to secure a Greenhouse for the school. We will put forth a proposal and then a question and answer session. We need to come up with a fund raising proposal to secure the funds necessary for a greenhouse. We need to get stated now in order to not lose the $20,000.00 in grant funding. Please come and help us out with this activity.

District Career Development Skills contests are on February 11, 2026 in Grand Island. We will be leaving at 6:15 from the Ag Room side for the bus to picks us up. Those contests that require Official Dress, must be worn to compete. Other contests require nice school clothes, preferably a FFA shirt; Usually the student will be done with their second contest around 1:00 pm. Awards will be announced at a later time. We will be going to eat at that time and return home. So the students will require lunch money or a sack lunch; Any questions please contact Mr. Koepke at [email protected] or call (308) 870-1046. They will have to qualify for state contests in order to attend State.

FFA Labor Auction changes.

AM FFA is sorry for the confusion that we are creating on the date of the labor auction. We are moving the date from February 2nd to our FFA Banquet on April 14, 2026. We will then be doing the labor auction during our annual FFA Banquet each year. We will let you know more as the time gets closer. Once again, we thank you for your support of our FFA Chapter.

Anselmo-Merna FFA Labor Auction

AM’s annual Labor Auction will take place in the High School Cafeteria on February 2, 2026 starting at 7:00 pm There will be 36 FFA Members auctioned off to the highest bidder. There will be a soup supper from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. We will be serving chili and chicken noodle soup along with desserts. The AM FFA chapter appreciates the support of the community and the labor auction buyers as the funds go towards the cost of going to contests and leadership development. Greenhouse Information with experts]

There will be two exerts who have used their greenhouses for many years going to come to Anselmo-Merna School on December 27th around 1:00pm. The meeting will be in the Ag Room 308. We have secured $20,000 in grants thus far and would like to take the information we can gather and move onto the next phase. Hope to see you there.
