A very big thank you to all our community helpers!
The fire department, police and sheriff departments, rescue squad, farmer, mailman, and the EMT. It was a great day for our little future community helpers getting to meet all the people who serve our area!

The chapel lesson, "God Makes a Way," taught us that God provides a way even when a situation seems impossible. With a mighty wind, God split the waters of the Red Sea, stacking them as walls so the people of Israel could walk across on dry ground to escape Pharoah and his army. We learned that no matter what we are facing in life, God will see us through it.

After a couple of weeks off during Fall Break, we resuming our Kids Light + Youth Group activities this Sunday evening (5:45-7pm). We also have childcare available for the youngest children. We had some special singers in chapel today. These girls did a wonderful job singing "All Around the World". Our Bible story today was called God to the Rescue and was about Moses and the Israelites. We learned that God is always faithful to save His people, no matter the challenge.

Mrs. Janet is our wonderful science teacher!! This week was about Autumn. The children got to play on the crunchy leaves and discover why it gets cold in the Fall.

Our Red Room Grandparents Day celebration was a success! We enjoyed having our grandparents join us for chapel, where the Bible lesson about Rachel and Leah reminded us that God looks at our hearts, not our outside appearance, when choosing people for His plans. We then headed to the classroom to sing some songs and finished our morning with playtime on the playground. We appreciate the love and wisdom our grandparents share with our students.

Yesterday was all about celebrating our Blue Room grandparents! We loved having them join us for chapel and a fun circle time in the classroom. Our lesson, "The Present," reminded us of the story of Abraham and Isaac and how we can always trust that God will provide for us. We were also reminded that God loves us so much that he sent His son Jesus to take our place so that we might live forever in heaven with Him.

This week, we had so much fun learning how to paint on the easel. This activity is not only fun but helps build important developmental skills. As the children use their entire arm to paint, they strengthen gross motor skills, and as they learn to control the brush, they develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Today our Green Room celebrated Grandparents Day! We were so happy to have our grandparents join us for chapel and for a special circle time in our classroom.

This week, our Bible story was "Son of Laughter." We learned about God's promise to Abraham that he would have a son and that his family would outnumber the stars in the sky. It was a wonderful reminder that God always keeps His promises.

Yesterday, our Purple Room grandparents joined us for chapel. Our Bible lesson was about the Tower of Babel, and we learned that the word "Babel" means a confusing noise. This helped us understand how important it is to tune out the confusing noise of the world and focus on Jesus.
