We would like to give a BIG shout-out to our very own, Mrs. Butler!
This week, Mrs. Butler had the opportunity to speak at the Mississippi Association of Secondary School Principals (MASSP) Conference in Biloxi, MS. She shared about a program she felt led to begin several years ago called Friday Faculty Focus.
Through Friday Faculty Focus, Mrs. Butler brings teachers together in small groups during their planning periods twice each month to discuss a variety of topics, build relationships, encourage collaboration, and strengthen our school culture. What started as a simple idea has become a meaningful opportunity for connection, support, and professional growth among our faculty.
During her presentation, Mrs. Butler was able to share her heart for our students, our staff, and the Northeast Lauderdale community. She highlighted the importance of investing in people, building strong relationships, and creating a positive environment where both students and educators can thrive.
We are incredibly proud of Mrs. Butler for representing Northeast Lauderdale High School on a state level. Her passion, dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence make a difference every day in the lives of our students and staff. Northeast is a better place because of the care, vision, and servant leadership she brings to our school.
Congratulations, Mrs. Butler! Thank you for all you do for Northeast Lauderdale High School. We are blessed to have you on our team!
Trojan Pride is the BEST Pride
