Surprise! You thought our Meet the Team series was over… but we have one more! 😄

Meet Dr. Devyn Dodge, PT, DPT our mostly behind-the-scenes team member handling marketing/social media, physician relationships, office administration, and her unofficial role as clinic mom (somebody has to keep us in line).

Devyn has worked on and off with members of the Pursuit team for the past eight years as a physical therapist and rejoined the team in April in her current role. While she isn’t treating patients these days, you never know when she might step in to cover! 😉

Outside of Pursuit, Devyn loves spending time with her husband and two daughters, cheering them on in their many sports, skiing and snowboarding as a family, and spending time in the mountains.

A few things you might not know about Devyn:

🤸‍♀️ Despite being 5'10", she grew up as a gymnast and cheerleader — and even cheered a year in college.

🪵 She recently discovered a love for woodworking.

🎓 She was the valedictorian of her high school graduating class.

🌮 She’s a sucker for good Mexican food especially chips, salsa, and enchiladas suizas.

🚀 She has never seen a Star Wars movie and isn’t much of a sci-fi fan.

🔥 Her perfect Saturday? A hot cup of coffee, a morning walk with the family, a day of skiing, and ending around a campfire with s’mores.

Last but not least in our Meet the Team series is Hayden Powell, one of the familiar faces you’ll see both working with patients and at the front desk!

Born and raised in Boise, Hayden graduated from Borah High School before earning his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Health from the University of Idaho. He has been part of our team for seven years, working as a trainer while also helping keep things running smoothly at the front desk.

Growing up, Hayden stayed busy with wrestling, football, basketball, and track. These days, he still loves staying active by running, golfing, and playing just about any sport he gets the chance to. 🏃

A few things you might not know about Hayden:

🌄He’s Idaho through and through — he’s never lived outside the state!

👦He’s a proud dad to his little boy, Everett, and loves spending time with his family.

🏈He’s a big Boise State fan and cheers for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

🎣When he’s not at Pursuit, you’ll probably find him golfing, hunting, fishing, or enjoying a cold beer. 🍺

⛳His perfect Saturday? A round of golf followed by a BBQ with family and friends.

Next up in our Meet the Team series is Dr. Julie Doan, DPT!

Julie grew up in Ketchum, Idaho, and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2020 after completing her undergraduate studies at Chapman University. She specializes in outpatient orthopedics and enjoys helping patients recover from musculoskeletal injuries, surgeries, and movement-related conditions. Julie is also certified in Functional Dry Needling.

Outside the clinic, Julie loves spending time with her family, traveling to new places, fishing, going on bike rides, and staying active.

A few things you might not know about Julie:

🌍She took 7 years of French!

🏋🏻‍♀️Her favorite ways to stay active are Barre3, lifting weights in her garage, and chasing her kids around.

🍚🌮When it comes to food, Asian and Mexican are at the top of her list.

🛫She loves traveling somewhere new — especially if there's sunshine and a beach involved! 🌴

⛱ Her perfect Saturday? Spending the day with her family on a lake or anywhere near the water.

Next up in our Meet the Team series is Colton Carbol, PTA!

Colton earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology and completed the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Idaho State University in 2016. He enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions and has a particular passion for working with active individuals and athletes.

Outside the clinic, Colton loves working out, golfing, playing music, spending time with his family and friends, and watching sports. 💪

A few things you might not know about Colton:

🏌️ He won the Idaho 5A individual state championship in golf in 2007 and later spent a couple of years in Phoenix trying to play professionally.

🥁 He plays drums in a metal band — and his favorite band is August Burns Red.

💪 His favorite ways to stay active are bodybuilding-style workouts, walking the golf course, and playing sports with his kids.

⛳ His perfect Saturday? A morning workout, time with the family, an afternoon round of golf, and UFC fights in the evening.

Next up is Zach Heyrend — co-owner, trainer, resident storyteller, and pretty much our do-a-little-bit-of-everything guy at Pursuit! 😂

Originally from Idaho Falls, Zach studied Biology at Paradise Valley Community College and Boise State University. His passion for staying active and helping others get back to doing what they love fits right in with the Pursuit team.

Outside the clinic, Zach loves spending time with his wife and kids, running, hitting the gym, and a little “riverboat gambling” — otherwise known as whitewater kayaking. 🛶

A few things you might not know about Zach:

🌊Before Pursuit, he worked as a whitewater river guide on the Colorado River and other stretches of whitewater throughout the Southwest. He has kayaked and rafted rivers across the country and even a few internationally.

😸Despite also having two dogs, Zach will admit he’s actually a cat person.

🌄His favorite place to get away is Shoup, Idaho.

🥩His favorite restaurant? Mastro’s — as long as someone else is paying. 😂 But ultimately his favorite food is anything his grandma used to make.

First up in our Meet the Team series is Dr. Jeffrey Taylor, DPT, ATC, physical therapist and one of the owners of Pursuit Physical Therapy!

Jeff is an Idaho Native who grew up in Fruitland. After earning his Athletic Training degree from Boise State, he went on to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Idaho State University. Now with 14 years of experience, Jeff specializes in treating spine and orthopedic injuries, surgical rehabilitation, and vestibular conditions.

When he's not treating patients, there's a good chance you'll find Jeff outside. 🌄He loves hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, hitting the gym, and spending time with his wife and kids.

A few things you might not know about Jeff:

🎨He's a pretty good artist.
🏀In high school, he played in a basketball tournament with LeBron James and Dwight Howard.
🌮Mexican food is at the top of his list.
🏈He's a big Boise State and Green Bay Packers fan.
🎣His perfect Saturday involves the wife and kids, the lake, fishing, BBQ, and roasting marshmallows.

It’s time to officially introduce the Pursuit Physical Therapy team!🎉

We spend a lot of time getting to know our patients, so we figured it was only fair that you get to know us too.
