In a world where we are defined by what we look like on the outside, we invest our time, efforts, and resources in looking good. Some old Greek or Roman scholar wrote (and I am paraphrasing as I can’t remember who said it.) In our youth, we labor to be beautiful on the outside. As we age and lose our looks, we labor to be beautiful on the inside. If only we could reverse that so we could be wiser in our youth and more aware of our inner beauty as we age.
