United Methodist Day School

We sure have been BUSY at UMDS!! All of y hese pictures were taken in just the past two weeks!!
We celebrated our six graduates who will be going to kindergarten in August, with a reception for each of them and their families in the banquet room. The snacks, gifts, and photo booths were a bit hit!
We said ‘See ya later!’ to some friends who are moving, some who are staying home for the summer, and some who will be starting pre-K at a local ‘big school’ in the fall!
We have also welcomed some precious new faces, as well as some familiar faces who are back with us for the summer!
We have celebrated several birthdays (By the way, we (students & staff included) don’t believe in ‘too many birthdays’ or ‘too many cupcakes or donuts’.. The more the merrier! 🤪
We got to have a pizza party, and I got to spend that time with some precious Tigers in Mrs. CeCe’s class!
I got to spend a good bit of time in the infant class, & those little ones are making some tremendous, exciting strides!!
I also got to visit with the ‘big kids’ several afternoons, and hearing the excitement and pride in their voices, when they tell me everything they have been learning lately, makes me smile so big.
No matter the age, infant to pre-K, seeing these kids learn to trust in God and themselves, face their fears, and accomplish their goals will always be one of the most rewarding experiences to witness!
