We had a great time meeting all our new students and families at our orientations tonight!! Thank you to our AMAZING staff and student leadership helpers for welcoming new members to the MMS family! 💛🖤

Remember, the school will be open for returning students to come tomorrow, August 9th from 9-11am to walk their schedules and practice their lockers.

We are so excited to welcome our students back to campus this week! For all orientations, please make sure to arrive on time. We will get schedules passed out and hear a Welcome Presentation from our admin before touring the school! 💛🖤

Congrats to our 6th graders who were recognized for showing PRIDE and for being recognized for their academics!!! We are proud of you!!!

Today we celebrated Mr. Chris Frith! He is retiring after 36 years at MMS!!! He started in 1988! Congrats to you and we appreciate your impact through all of these years!!! Happy retirement! You earned it!

Ms. Redman’s class met their pen pals today from Meridian Elementary school! They met on our tennis courts to chat! We love building relationships with our students that come to MMS! Thank you Ms. Redman!!!

NJHS spent time at Meridian Elementary helping their 3rd and 4th grade pen pals with a science project and team building activity!

Today our sixth grade GT/ honors students completed their final project for the unit. The project connects to the book Code Talkers and was a proposal for a way to honor these brave Americans for their dedication and service. These images are of the gallery walk they took to read and respond to all of the proposals.

Our 2nd KETCHUP DAY was a great success. All students that had all of their work completed and a C or above got to do fun incentive activities all day. Our other students were able to spend the time making up their missing work and assessments to get their grades up before the end of the semester!! Way to go MMS!!!

Bring those books back tomorrow!!! 👏

Mr. Morgan is amazing and helps support our students everyday! He builds relationships through coaching and being on our security team! He is going through a very tough time and anything helps! We love you Mr. Morgan!

MMS had our ISAT Celebration day! Our students rocked their ISATS and earned tickets for and other prizes to buy with their tickets! We are soo proud of you! Way to go MMS!
