I am so proud to be part of an amazing Child Nutrition Team that cares deeply about our scholars — not just feeding them, but making sure they feel welcomed, valued, and excited to be with us every single day.

Meridian Public Schools is pleased to announce that the district will continue participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the 2026-2027 school year. Through CEP, all students will continue to receive breakfast and lunch at no cost during the school year.

The district encourages every student to take advantage of this opportunity and join us in the cafeteria each school day for nutritious meals designed to support healthy, successful learners.

We're thrilled to announce that our Summer Feeding Program is off to a fantastic start!

Since launching on June 1st, our MPSD Child Nutrition Department team has been serving hot, delicious breakfasts and lunches as usual, while also introducing a groundbreaking new option: a box of shelf-stable meals, providing a week's worth of breakfasts and lunches for our children 0 -18 years of age.


The response has been phenomenal - in just eight days, we've distributed over 1,800 boxes!

We're grateful for the community's overwhelming support and proud to play a role in fueling our children's health and well-being throughout the summer.

District Offices will close at Noon on Thursday, July 2, 2026 and be closed on Friday, July 3, 2026, in observance of the 4th of July holiday. All offices will reopen on Monday, July 6, 2026.

We've concluded an exceptional Nutrition Industry Summit, harnessing collective expertise, forging powerful partnerships, and exchanging visionary ideas with peers and industry leaders, leaving us enriched with actionable insights to propel our programs forward and drive meaningful change.
