We are hosting an important informational meeting on Monday, November 13, from 7:00-8:30 PM. This meeting is intended to help our current and incoming high school families (8th graders) have a clear understanding of what Compass has to offer for dual credit, career technical classes, advanced opportunities funding, etc. A couple of Compass Alumni will share their experiences in high school and how
they felt as far as being prepared for college. We encourage all 8th and 9th grade parents and students to attend!

BPA, FCCLA, and HOSA Club Officers attend the CTE BASIC Leadership Conference. They participated in activities, leadership opportunities, and networked with other students from our region. It is a great opportunity for these leaders to grow their CTE organization.
High School students - Join us for the new Speech and Debate Club! Meetings will be held every Thursday after school in room 201 (Library) starting October 26th. This year students will be observing other competitors and competitions for better understanding of how the process works. Our semi-annual Take and Bake Pizza Sale is going on October
4th & 5th.
Mrs. Long’s 15 inch made-from-scratch-pizzas have been a
Compass favorite for years. The CTE (Career and Technical
Education) clubs are selling these pizzas to help offset the cost
of competing in their various fields.
Just fill out the order form and Mrs. Long will send you an
invoice. You can pay when you pick up your order by cash or
card or you can prepay on myschoolbucks. (There is a 5%
convenience fee that goes to myschoolbucks.)
You can pick up your take and bake pizzas (fresh or frozen) between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Wednesday or Thursday. Receive a 10% discount when you order 10 or more. All pizzas must be preordered.
Today, and every day, we are so thankful to Mr. Sessions and Mrs. Barnett for making our school healthy and safe! Encourage your students to write a 'thank you' note to these 2 and give it to them on Tuesday.
