Our school just brought in and donated a total of 850 POUNDS of candy!!!! Drum roll please……and the winning grade level is FIRST GRADE who brought in a total of 295.5 lbs! WAY TO GO FIRST GRADE!!!

Ever wonder what STEM looks like through the eyes of a student? It looks a lot like leaning how to use our critical thinking skills developed in the classroom to examine and solve real world problems!

Tonight is the night!!!!! BMSA is so excited to open our doors to our families for our Family Engineering Back-to-School Event!

We will explore simple machines with an emphasis on Farm to Table. You will also get to learn about our school garden and sample some of its produce. You might even walk away with a new desire to help it flourish!

Family Engineering Night starts at 6:00pm and runs thru 7:30pm. See you there!

Last week BMSA entered a few flowers/veggies in the Western Idaho Fair. Our entries did so well!!

Potatoes (planted by kindergarten)
Carrots (planted by 2nd grade)
Small marigolds (planted by 3rd)
Largest sunflower head (re-seeded from last year)

We also entered Zinnias, Marigolds, Tomatoes, Statice, and a Sunflower. They did pretty well overall.

All entries were planted by last year’s BMSA students.

Thank you to our volunteers who helped select items, deliver them to the fair, and check results last week!

Reminder! Late start is every Wednesday. Students may arrive on campus at 9:00 when there is supervsion. All other days 8:45. The cafeteria opens at this time too for those wanting breakfast. Thank you. 🚀
