⚡ Career Connections with Mississippi Power!
Our 6th–12th graders got a look at the technology behind the energy industry during this month's Career Connections!
Our guests from Mississippi Power talked with teens about Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), smart metering technology, AI Agents, and careers connected to these evolving technologies. They also brought equipment so our teens could get a closer look at some of the technology used in the field.
A huge thank you to Mississippi Power for spending time with us, answering questions, and introducing our teens to new career possibilities! ⚡💡

🎨☕ A little painting, a little sipping, and a whole lot of relaxing!
We celebrated National Lazy Day with a laid-back Paint & Sip during our Monday morning Adult Program. No pressure and no rush—just coffee, tea, creativity, and good company while everyone enjoyed creating at their own pace. 💛
