Today was all about capturing the special moments and the people who make our school community so wonderful! 💕 Our South Meridian New Horizon Academy family had a fantastic time taking photos with family members, friends, and loved ones. 🥰

🌪️🧪 Little Scientists at Work! 🔬✨

Our two-year-olds had a blast exploring science with a tornado in a bottle experiment! 🌪️💦 They watched in amazement as the water swirled and created their very own mini tornado.

It was a fun, hands-on way for our little learners to observe, explore, and discover while building early science skills! 💙🌈

We love seeing those curious little minds in action! 👀✨

🚌💛 Big Bus, Big Adventures, BIG Kindergarten Skills! 🎓✨

Our recent Pre-K graduates got a very special kindergarten readiness experience—a ride on a big yellow school bus! 🚌🥰

For many of our little learners, this was their first chance to experience what riding the school bus will be like. They practiced important skills like boarding the bus, finding a seat, listening to the driver, and following safety instructions—all while having SO much fun! 🌟

It was more than just a bus ride—it was a wonderful opportunity to build confidence, independence, and excitement for the next big adventure: KINDERGARTEN! 🎒📚🍎

We are so proud of our little learners and can’t wait to see where that big yellow bus takes them next! 💛🚌

On August 1, 2026, we proudly celebrated our amazing New Horizon Academy Pre-K graduates as they graduated from our Kindergarten Readiness Program! 🥳📚🍎

From learning new skills and making friendships to growing in confidence and independence, these little learners have worked so hard—and we couldn’t be more proud! 💙

Career Day & Kids Market is happening July 18th, and admission is now FREE from 10am-noon! 😄

Come meet the New Horizon Academy team along with other career professionals stationed at exhibits throughout the Children's Museum. Chat with them about what they do and collect stickers for your Career Day passport!

Then stick around for the Kids Market from 10am-2pm, a market run entirely by kid entrepreneurs selling their own goods. Shop local, support young business owners, and see what these kiddos have created!
