My name is Charles Johns and I am the Director of Missions & Recruitment at MACC Development. My job is to recruit short-term mission teams from all over the United States and Canada, to come to Detroit to serve the city & our community. I also recruit volunteers and interns. MACC Development is a Christian non-profit community development organization located on Detroit’s lower east-side. MACC Development was founded in 2010 by Mack Avenue Community Church. We host mission teams all year long. Our busiest times are during the Spring Break season and June & July. We are recruiting teams for 2019 & 2020.

I am contacting you in hopes that a representative of your organization who is in charge of Mission Trips would be able to check out the provided information and consider our organization for your next mission trip. Our programming includes lodging, all meals, teaching & discussion panel sessions, community service projects, neighborhood & city tours, a fun night, reflection times and opportunities to interact with the community.

Boise Harvest College is a leadership training ministry of Harvest Church in Meridian, Idaho. Additionally, it is a Bible college in partnership with Portland Bible College offering fully transferable PBC credits towards certificates, associate and bachelor degrees in theology. BHC is for those young people who deeply love Jesus, desire to pursue a greater knowledge of Him, and are passionate about being equipped to serve on the front lines of the Kingdom of God both domestically and abroad.

The team has spent the last few days ministering in Karamoja. They taught children, preached to church leaders, shared the gospel to a remote tribe and brought food to many people.
Though they start the trek home tomorrow, the ministering does not stop there! Before they jump on the plane, they have the opportunity to encourage the Bible college students at the Segaku Worship Center!
