Our 5th Graders have been designing a three step water purification system. This week they had the opportunity to test their designs!

We will join a small handful of schools across the United States that have been recognized for programs that demonstrate a strong and effective STEM focus. The review team looked for hallmarks of quality, as described in Cognia’s STEM Certification Standards. These standards, which Cognia identified through robust research and extensive observations, focus on characteristics like problem-based experiential learning and the integration of STEM thinking into a broad range of activities and learning opportunities.
Project Impact STEM Academy just completed our STEM Certification evaluation and has been recommended for STEM Certification through Cognia!
The Boise State University College of Education Literacy Lab is now enrolling K-12 students for Spring 2022 tutoring!
Virtual tutoring will take place beginning 2/15/22 via Zoom from 4:30pm-5:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays through 4/14/22. Students are tutored either one-on-one or in a small group with two tutors. Any students in grades K-12 can receive tutoring, and the cost is $175 per child.
We also offer payment plans and some scholarships!

Project Impact STEM Academy's two FLL teams competed at the Southern Idaho State FIRST Lego League Championship on Saturday, 1/15. It was a great experience for all involved and the teams are looking forward to next year already! Thank you , , , and PiSTEM families for helping to support our FIRST Robotics Programs.
