More than an after-school activity 🚀 Code Ninjas helps kids learn STEM skills, critical thinking, and future-ready skills in a fun, engaging environment.
Even if you haven't coded before, you might have come across the word 'debug' before. In this case, it means to identify a problem within your program and solve it.
While debugging is traditionally a coding concept, it is used all the time in your everyday life! It's the ability to problem-solve after analyzing the problem, coming up with possible solutions to make everything work correctly.
And it's something that our Ninjas are learning how to do as they create games so that they can become better programmers.
Not all screen time is created equal 💡 helps kids turn their creativity into real-world skills.

Your 5, 6, or 7 year old can build their own video game this summer at Code Ninjas JR Game Coding Camp. It's three days of hands-on creativity using tablets and Scratch Jr. Because Scratch Jr uses icon-based block coding, no reading required, just drag, drop, and create. Campers design hide-and-seek games, clicker games, and mazes, then remix them into their very own creations with custom characters and backgrounds. No experience needed. Just curiosity and a little imagination.
Just a few spots remaining. Grab yours before it's gone

How do we prepare kids for a world where AI is everywhere?
By helping them understand it, question it, and create with it.
In this conversation with Tech First, Code Ninjas CEO Navin Gurnaney explains why helping kids understand the technology they're using may be one of the most important skills they can develop for the future.

Every computer, every device, has a brain. But that brain needs a programmer to tell it what to do.
Introducing the micro:bit: a small, programmable computer that can be told to do a variety of things! From a thermometer, a device to play rock, paper, scissors with, a magic 8-Ball, to even a step counter! It can even be plugged into other devices, such as robots!
And the coolest part of all is that this summer, your kid can learn how to do all of that and more!

Big builds. Big smiles. Even bigger friendships. 😄
Some of the best things built at Code Ninjas aren’t on a screen. The connections our ninjas make here are just as special as the skills they learn!

Our Robotics Engineering camp puts real tools in their hands. Ninjas use micro:bit computers and CuteBot cars to program movements, speed control, obstacle avoidance, and line tracking from scratch. The camp wraps up with a showcase where each camper presents their finished robot to the group.
Three days. Real engineering. No experience needed.

For this Ninja Spotlight, we wanted to show off the hard work of one of our Ninjas who recently belted up to Orange: Kieran G.!
Since this was his belt-up project, this game utilizes all of the concepts taught in Yellow Belt. It has functions, while loops, booleans, conditionals, arrays, and events for whenever the player touches the wall or presses A and B.
It's been amazing to watch all of Kieran's progress, and we're so happy to have him here at Code Ninjas. Congrats on Orange Belt, Kieran! We hope you enjoy JavaScript just as much as block-coding.

Back in 1950, Alan Turing asked a question that sounded almost impossible:
“Can machines think?” 🤖
Today, we’re living in the answer: with AI, automation, and self-driving cars all around us.
This National Inventors Month, we’re feeling inspired by big thinkers—and the kids in our centers who are just getting started!
