We had an AMAZING turnout for Goodies with Grandparents, and our kiddos absolutely loved getting to welcome some of their favorite people into their school.

🍎✨ Help us celebrate our Teacher of the Year, Miss Merissa! ✨🍎

If you’ve spent any time at The Owl’s Nest, chances are you’ve felt a little bit of the magic Miss Merissa brings with her. Whether she’s making our toddlers giggle, dreaming up a new sensory activity, helping bring one of our slightly over-the-top theme days to life 😂, or simply being the kind of teammate everyone can count on, she puts her whole heart into what she does.

So much of what makes an incredible teacher happens in the little moments that never make it into a picture, but those are often the moments that matter most.

We are incredibly lucky to have Miss Merissa as part of our Owl’s Nest family, and we couldn’t think of anyone more deserving of this recognition! 🍎

🔬 STEM starts earlier than you might think!

When we hear “STEM,” our minds often jump to middle school science fairs, beakers, and complicated experiments, but did you know STEM learning can begin in toddlerhood?

As our little learners squish, roll, shape, bend, build, and experiment with playdough and different materials, they’re exploring early concepts of science, technology, engineering, and math. They’re asking themselves, “What happens if I do this?” and learning through trial and error.

At this age, STEM doesn’t need to look complicated. Sometimes, it just looks like tiny hands, curious minds, and a whole lot of play 🧪

🍭Our first Family Game Night was Sweet🍭

We had the best time making our way through Candy Land with our Owl’s Nest families! From games to giggles to treats and prizes, and lots of sweet memories, our hearts (and sweet tooth’s😉) were FULL!

Thank you for all of our amazing families who came out and made our very first game night such a special one. We already can’t wait for the next one!
