Creative Imaginations Early Learning & Child Care

For our Pets themed unit, we had an extra special visit from the Idaho Reptile Zoo! We got to see, touch, and learn about 3 different snake species, a blue tongue skink, a tortoise, a black and white tegu, and a baby alligator! The demonstrator was so knowledgable about the animals, making it such an impactful hands-on learning experience. We learned that the skink has a blue tongue to appear poisonous to predators, giving it the ability to defend itself! Experiences like this connect learning from the classroom to real life situations--allowing them to explore, wonder, and discover! If you are looking for something fun to do this summer, pay them a visit!

We are ready for spring weather at Creative Imaginations! The winter months can feel so long so we are looking forward to longer outside play and exploration time. Thank you Ms. Kennedy for making this adorable bulletin board to bring some cheer to our hallway!

Take a look at this monthly Newsletter our wonderful intern made for our PreK class! We are so proud to partner with West Ada's CTE Program for Early Childhood Education. These girls are incredibly driven and passionate about teaching and caring for our community's children!

Art in a preschool setting is such a unique and interesting window into their little world. Letting children freely express themselves through crafts and process art fosters a sense of confidence and belonging in the classroom. Take a look at what a student from our PreK class made! She said she made a sign for the classroom door, "so that parents and kids know which class to go to"! We love watching our students' imaginations thrive here at school🩷

Learning doesn't just happen in the classroom with a perfectly crafted activity and the best toys. So much of the time it happens in small moments like this--with just a finger, some snow, and a slide! This small snapshot of their day represents months and years of immesnse growth and development. Not only are they practicing fine motor, but handwriting foundations, shape recognition, sesnsory exploration, and the practice of sharing space with their friends. We love moments like this at Creative Imaginations!

Our 12th annual Christmas Program was a success! It was such a fun night filled with joy, love, and holiday cheer. Thank you to all the families that made that night so special! These kiddos worked so hard on their songs and loved meeting the special guest. Happy Holidays from Creative Imaginations!

At Creative Imaginations, Every Day Is a Big Step in Child Development!

Art stations, dramatic play corners, and music time give children the freedom to explore their creativity while building confidence and fine-motor skills.

Outdoor play, obstacle courses, dancing, and balancing activities help children build strength, coordination, and body awareness.

Every giggle, every “aha!” moment, and every messy masterpiece is a sign of growth and we’re honored to be part of that journey.
