Fun Outdoor Obstacle Course!

We love getting our kiddos bodies moving and brains working, and this obstacle course accomplishes both! Watch our Totschool class not only work on gross motor skills by jumping, balancing, and walking/running, but also their cognitive skills. This activity teaches decision making and planning, cause and effect, and turn-taking!

We love making our outdoor play just as intentional as inside our classrooms.💜🏃‍♀️

🐔 From Coop to Kitchen! 🥚

Our farm study made its way into the kitchen! Our little chefs learned where eggs come from before getting hands-on with cracking, stirring, cooking, and of course… tasting!

What does this mean?
IdahoSTARS Quality Achievers is Idaho’s voluntary quality recognition and improvement program for child care providers. It supports programs in strengthening their practices through coaching, professional development, assessments, and recognition.

Earning Quality Essentials means our program has established important foundational practices that support quality early learning. Our Quality Achievements recognize additional work and higher-quality practices in specific areas.

For our families, this recognition means that we are committed to more than simply meeting the basic requirements of child care. We are intentionally working to provide an environment where children are safe, supported, engaged, and given meaningful opportunities to learn and grow.

Our recognition reflects our commitment to:

The possibilities are endless at our Creative Kitchen! From pinecone muffins to acorn stew, these recipes keep getting better and better!

Being curious, using senses, and working as a team are all things you'll find our kiddos doing in the mud kitchen every day.

Take a look at the newest addition to our outdoor playground--the mud kitchen! Now, we consider our playground as more of an outdoor classroom that fosters learning experiences that not only help develop life-long skills, but life-long memories!

We can't wait to see what fun and creative things our kiddos come up with this week at the kitchen. At Creative Imaginations Early Learning and Childcare, we make school a place children WANT to be and encourage a LOVE for learning!

By paying close attention to each child's interests, skills, interactions, and developmental progress, we can create learning experiences that are meaningful, engaging, and tailored to each child's needs.

Observation helps us celebrate milestones, recognize emerging abilities, and support every child as they grow at their own unique pace.
