The Willow Creek PTO is hosting Popsicles on the Playground on Thursday, August 6, from 6:00–7:30 PM.

It’s a fun, relaxed way for incoming kindergarteners and new families to:

Students raised money for it, and they got it!!! Teacher Lip Sync Battle!!!!!!!! Our Fun Run was a success! A fun time was had by all, but Mrs. Gray took home the bragging rights! 🎵🎶🎸🎤

Former WCE students walked the halls one last time as Seniors! All students clapped and cheered as the walked the halls. Unfortunately due to the temperatures today, teachers had to forfeit the kickball game. Seniors are the victors this year! Congratulations to the class of 2026!!! You’ll always be an Explorer! 💙🩵

WCE 5th graders visited our State Capitol today to see first hand our state and national history. The 43rd state’s capitol is a beautiful building. Students met with our House Representative, Ted Hill, who was able to bring the students in to sit in the House Chambers! What a special treat! Students were able to pretend to be representatives. They explored by doing a treasure hunt and scavenger hunt. It was a great trip representing WCE’s 5th grade at the Capitol!

A huge thank you for supporting this year’s Willow Creek Explorer Run 2026 fundraiser! It was an incredible success, and we had so much fun along the way. Overall, Willow Creek Elementary School raised $29,089 for adding a GaGa Ball pit and updating the painted games to our blacktop, as well as continuing to fund field trips next year and afterschool programs - such as the Art Workshop and Lego Club! 🎉
