The annual LCSD Administrative Retreat has the Southeast Administrative Team excited and ready for the 2026–2027 school year!

As you begin planning vacations and special trips, please remember that when school is in session, student attendance matters. Every day in the classroom provides valuable learning opportunities that are difficult to replace.

With Mississippi's updated attendance laws taking effect this school year, planning ahead is more important than ever. We hope this calendar of holidays and long weekends helps your family schedule trips during designated breaks so students can enjoy family time while staying on track academically.
