Please join us in welcoming Jayden Jones to the Meridian High School Band staff!
Jayden Jones is a recent graduate of William Carey University with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. Ms. Jones brings a diverse background in performance, administration, and world-class drum corps leadership to the program. She currently serves as the Tour Operations Manager for the Music City Drum and Bugle Corps, where she oversees logistics and operational coordination.
In 2023, Ms. Jones served as a drum major in drum corps before transitioning into an administrative role in 2024. She is also a recipient of the Keith Hall Founder’s Award, which recognizes outstanding leadership, service, and dedication. In addition to her work in education and drum corps, she serves as an Administrative Assistant for Silent Command, further demonstrating her commitment to leadership development and operational excellence within the marching arts community.
We are excited to welcome Ms. Jones to Meridian High School and look forward to the impact she will make on our students, our culture, and the future of the Wildcat Band.

Congratulations to one of our Wildcat Band Drum Majors, Derek Flores, on completing the Baby Boom High School Band Camp at Jackson State University! 💙🤍
For six days, Derek lived on campus, trained alongside students from across the nation, and developed his leadership and performance skills before taking the field for Saturday’s showcase.
We are proud of your hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence. Keep leading from the front! 🎷✨

A special thank you to Mr. Joseph Jernigan of Twin States News for helping kick off our Wildcat Band Water Drive with a donation of bottled water!
We also want to thank the Meridian High School Class of 2006 for their generous contribution and support of the Wildcat Band. Your investments in our students are greatly appreciated!
