to the Meet The Artist event on 2/6 at Meridian Underground-Music, it’s a great way for art teachers and performers to connect with young and old! Got to meet some really cool kids and teach them about cello/guitar and answer questions about learning! Good memories and thank you again for the opportunity!

Thank you Alanna Burns for inviting me to play with the MHS choir pit band, had a lot of fun and the kids knocked it out of the park this year! They sang the full Hallelujah Chorus too which is no small feat for a high school group! 🤩

Had a blast teaching College4Kids + Meridian Symphony Orchestra’s Music Mania classes! Session 1 was wonderful and can’t wait for next week, lots of drums and strings too(and talented kids)!

Even if you play one instrument, why not try another? A student wanted to try out the cello today at his piano lesson (although it’s a grownup size) & liked it!

Even though my dog Stash is 11 years old and is pretty much retired from getting to stay out for music lessons(he loves his naps more these days), I loved chill time w/ him this morning while practicing some music for upcoming wedding gigs 🐶

This is the College4Kids music team! I don’t know what would have done without the help of Mrs. Leslie, Brian, Cam and Brett, thank you so much for everything you do!! 🙏 also a big thanks to Carra Purvis, Zena Limerick and the Meridian Symphony Orchestra for this wonderful opportunity to show kids music over the summer! 🎶 🎵

Elyza’s first lesson! She did wonderfully and had already done some research at home/knew all her strings, so proud of her!
