This prestigious award recognizes educators who exemplify excellence, leadership, and innovation in language teaching. Emilyโs nomination was supported by heartfelt endorsements from administrators, colleagues, students, and the language education community.
Emily will represent Idaho regionally at the Pacific Northwest Council for Languages (PNCFL) Conference in Anchorage, Alaska, this April. ๐

On January 9, 2025, our nation will observe a day of mourning in honor of the life and legacy of President Jimmy Carter. ๐บ๐ธ President Carter's unwavering dedication to public service, humanitarian efforts, and commitment to education have made a profound impact on our nation and the world. ๐โจ
While the National Day of Mourning affects federal offices, all West Ada schools will remain open and operate on a normal schedule on January 9. ๐ซ๐ To honor the 39th President of the United States, flags at all West Ada schools and facilities will be lowered to half-staff through January 28, following the directive of President Joe Biden. ๐ณ๏ธโฌ๏ธ

Today, 38 turkey dinners were delivered to Centennial High School families thanks to the incredible leadership of Amy Cornell and her amazing team! With over $3,800 raised, this initiative brought so much more than just mealsโit brought community. ๐
