REUNION UPDATE!!

Thank you to everyone who responded to our poll!

Unfortunately, there is not enough interest in a reunion at this point and we’ve decided to postpone the reunion for Spring of 2022. The biggest deciding factor in our decision to postpone is purely based on numbers and the amount of work it takes to organize and host a twenty-year reunion.

This is where we need your help!! Help us spread the word! We need more interest and a bigger turnout!

Connect with classmates that may not be on FB or share our FB page so we can continue to build interest by this Spring.

Hey Warriors- REUNION Stuff - PLEASE READ

So we’re at a bit of a crossroad and we need input!! We NEED participation!

Tentatively we have planned:

October 1st: Warrior Homecoming Football game at Meridian High with catered BBQ tailgate style! This will be an adult night ONLY with adult plans to follow to a local venue!

October 2nd: Warrior Family Day: Picnic in the park. Catered lunch for all! Bring your Warrior/Warriorette and all the mini-warriors for games, lunch, and family fun!

So here is where we NEED your help... Cassi posted earlier a poll for attendance. We NEED EVERYONE to go respond to the poll or comment here. We need to have at least 50 participants to justify holding the reunion due to the amount of planning and money involved. The crossroad being, if we have a committed 50, we will hold the reunion. If we don’t have the numbers, we will be forced to postpone. Please reach out to one of the admins with your party count or comment here. If the majority will not show due to COVID, we completely understand and will adjust accordingly. Please understand that for this reason, we are choosing to keep this as more of an outdoor event so that more will feel comfortable.

We will leave the poll open until September 17th and then we have to make the call. All of the admins would LOVE to see every single one of you so don’t disappoint us! Even if that means we have to do it in the spring or summer time! Looking forward to hearing from all of you and hopefully being able to see you soon! If you know people from the graduating class that are not on Facebook, please pass along the information to them.... if someone is on Facebook and isn’t in the group, please invite them! We can’t post price and signup for tickets until we have a better idea of attendance!

Whether or not you’re able to attend the reunion, please leave a comment on this post with an update on what you’ve been up to the past 20 years! Photos of you are a bonus ❤️

HEY EVERYONE!

You ready to party? Great! Let's do this!

Obviously, this is our 20 year mark from graduating from Meridian High, so we need to discuss a 20 year reunion.

So, what we need from YOU, is help with the following:

1. Choose a date that works best for you: August 14, Sept 18, or October 1.

2. Tag any and all MHS 2001 alum that isn't on this FB page, so you can help us spread the word.

3. Anybody living in Meridian/Boise area that can help plan? All three of us currently live out of state, so any help putting the reunion together would be greatly appreciated!

What are you most looking forward to at this year's reunion?

If you're going to the July 23 events (MHS 2001 10-Year Reunion **Family BBQ** and MHS 2001 10-Year Reunion **Adult Event**) PLEASE help the organizers and send in your payment. Money can't be taken "at the door" because the venues have to be paid in advance. Which also means that payment is the official RSVP, not an "attending" on the events' pages. Spread the word, please!

Hi All! The countdown has begun! Please purchase your reunion tickets as soon as possible. We will be unable to accept payment the day of the reunion as we need to cover venue costs prior to the events as well as notify the caterer our official headcount. We ask that all purchases be made by July 4th giving us enough time to coordinate with venue owners and caterers.
